The location was marvellous and lovely for exploring this very quiet area, near to the town center. Also, Night Walk Santamaria's was located in vicinity.

location: the hotel was just next door to monteverde with a good breakfast, and tourist attractions. the staff were both amicable and great. the room was cosy & exceptional with a big bathroom, had free wi-fi.

The location was great, as it was close to the Monteverde wildlife refuge and in a very quiet area.

Fantastic breakfast options, including traditional Costa Rican dishes and delicious homemade marmalade. Helpful and friendly hosts who provided great recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants. Peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle, with a beautiful forest and creek nearby for exploration

Lighting for reading in bed could be improved. Shower floor could use a non-slip mat for safety precautions

Great staff, homemade breakfasts, peaceful setting close to town. Jose Pablo was a knowledgeable and friendly host. Tranquil place with a lovely sunset view. Family business with attentive people. Bed and shower were comfortable.

Great value for the price! the bed and breakfast provided a comfortable and clean room. the breakfast was delicious and the coffee was fantastic. the host was friendly and gave excellent recommendations for local tours. the location was convenient, close to popular attractions such as night walk tours and coffee tours. the surrounding wildlife was a bonus, with lots of birds to spot from the porch.

Finding the lodging was a bit challenging due to the small sign and rough road leading up to it. the remote location made it difficult to explore on foot, as the roads lacked sidewalks.

The staff was very nice and the homemade breakfasts were a nice touch. the central location was convenient and the peaceful garden provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

The lack of a table other than a nightstand and the absence of luggage stands were minor inconveniences that could have improved the experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Rayo De Luna for our Costa Rica getaway. The location was perfect, nestled in a tranquil spot surrounded by nature, yet still within walking distance to the town center. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. Jose Pablo, our exceptional host, provided great recommendations for local activities and served us a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast. Casa Rayo De Luna was an excellent choice for our stay.

We loved our stay at Casa Rayo De Luna! The highlight was definitely the amazing breakfast served every morning. We had a choice between traditional Costa Rican, eggs & toast, or pancakes, and they were all delicious. The hosts, Jose and his family, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided helpful recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants and even arranged a night tour for us. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and fast WiFi. The peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Elena, made for a relaxing stay. The only thing that would have been helpful was having a desk or table in the room to set things on, but that was a minor inconvenience. we highly recommend Casa Rayo De Luna for a pleasant stay in Monteverde.

The hotel's location was great, just a short walk to Monteverde Orchid Garden, and the room had a seating area, work desk, and a very comfortable bed.
